Exercise

Being active is one of the most significant factors that affect your well-being. One study found that half of all adults worldwide do not get enough exercise each week.


One thing that is proven to increase your well-being is regular physical activity. The reason being is that it has a wide range of benefits for your body.


Improved blood flow and muscle and bone strength, weight control, increased energy, decreased depression, anxiety, memory improvement, mood changes, increased self-esteem, as well as an overall feeling of good.


Why are you not exercising regularly? You might think that you are too tired, busy, or simply that it's not important to you.


These reasons may all play a part but it's important to realize that physical activity is important to your well-being.


Sleep

Early in the morning, I suggest a good 7 to 8-hour sleep as this gives your body the essential nutrients it needs to function at its best and it makes you very alert throughout the day. Your energy levels are also higher which is always a plus.

No matter how tired you are, at 9am, I suggest you have a cup of coffee to boost your energy levels. I recommend this as this is a stimulant and will ensure that you stay focused and don’t get too tired.

You can set up reminders, scroll through messages, set alarms, and do your normal work just liononn a normal day, but the idea is to turn off your digital life so that you can get back to doing what you are supposed to do- manage your time.


The point of the whole app is to stop checking your work email or your Facebook account on the computer and go straight to work. That is what the developers are trying to achieve.

The main challenge to meditation is that we’re told it is difficult, or has to be performed for long periods, and if we want to achieve anything worthwhile, then there’s no time for that. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. All it takes is 10 minutes to begin to experience a great change in our mental state. It is impossible to do 10 minutes of meditation in a day, but just 10 minutes is good enough to begin to get the benefits, and it’s a great first step.


It’s much easier to sit and breathe mindfully for a couple of minutes than to do 10 minutes of meditation with a meditation app. You can also listen to relaxing nature sounds, watch relaxing nature films, or just sit there with your eyes closed and focus on breathing.
