Intro to the author

I was approached by an interesting man named Joseph Thacker who founded the website. I had read a few of his books on Prosperity. The first thing I noticed about the site was that it was extremely well laid out. The layout included extensive use of white space and was visually pleasing and functional. It offered a wealth of information that was organized and easy to navigate. A prominent feature of the site was a track called The 5 Great Myths that included material on the ten most pervasive myths regarding wealth and prosperity. What really impressed me about the site was the quality of the writing and information. The material had a succinct and readable style.

What is the good life?

Is there a guide to following the course to a happy and healthy existence?

I think so.

Although I will not claim to be a living example of that which I am describing, I will try to touch on the various threads that hold these disparate ideas together.

The first of these threads is "karma".

Let's get that out of the way, though, as it is an obvious and unending source of confusion for most people.

Why is karma important?

Does it really exist?

Of course, it exists, and everyone knows that.

What most people don't realize is that it is the same thing as your basic day-to-day human behavior, or rather, the lack thereof.

The simple reason why karma is important is that it is an underlying factor in virtually every other aspect of life.

Executing your plan for a good life

Everything you’ve been given is for you to maximize. So what will you use it for? Executing your plan for a good life will give you what you need to succeed. The idea of working yourself to death is a pretty scary one, but it’s also a horrible one.

Pursuing your dreams and following your passions will give you a better life, and people will find you inspiring. There’s a word for that kind of an impact — it’s brilliant.

The transition from being a working person to being a self-employed artist is not easy. However, if you want to move forward in your life, you need to know how to transition. You need to know what it takes to be self-employed, be financially stable, make a living and keep up the momentum as you grow your business.

Grief.

It is a word that weighs heavy on my heart.

In June I lost a dear friend.

She was 27 years old.

She passed away from cancer.

I don't remember the day that it happened but I remember the last text I received from her.

I wish I could go back in time and tell her I am sorry for not hanging out.

I wish I could tell her I loved her.

I wish I could tell her I would miss her.

Instead, I am left with memories of the wonderful times we shared.

Memories of her smiling face, her voice, her hugs, her sense of humor.

She made me a better person and I miss her every day.

For one of the last times I saw her she told me that God was going to take good care of me.

She was very correct.
